Job Opening for Helpdesk/Support Tech/Network Admin
Queens-based company seeking support technician/network admin. Responsible for Level 1 help desk support, network and hardware troubleshooting, user training. Occasional travel within Greater NYC area. Network admin experience a plus, including Windows Server, Terminal Services, Exchange Server, AD, Group Policy Editing, BES, VPNs.
Specific duties will include
• Adding new users plus initial training
• MS Windows support
• Application Support, including MS Office plus proprietary applications
• Supporting laptop users in the field
• Maintaining Group Policies
• Email (MS Exchange/Outlook)
• Troubleshoot fax machines, printers, other peripherals
• Training users in common procedures
• Troubleshooting DSL/Cable Internet connections
• Working with outside vendors
• Backup and Restore
• Network administration, depending on candidate’s experience level
